What sets DLR-TEST.TRAINING apart from others?

The training app covers all test categories of the DLR selection process and generates tasks algorithmically—every session is different, so memorization is out of the question. A personalized training plan determines which test types are practiced, when, and in what order, tailored to your test date and your current progress. And instead of always practicing at the same level, you gradually work your way up to the actual test level across multiple difficulty levels for each test type.

Who is this app for?

For all aspiring pilots preparing for the DLR test as part of the selection process—regardless of whether the test is in four weeks or six months. However, we recommend allowing at least three months for preparation.

How does the progression system work?

Each test type starts at an accessible entry level. As soon as you consistently meet the performance criteria for a level, the app automatically moves you up to the next one—with more tasks, shorter time limits, or more complex problems. This way, the challenges grow along with your skills, and you always practice at exactly the level that will actually help you improve.

What does DLR-TEST.TRAINING offer?

DLR-TEST.TRAINING is a web app designed to help you prepare for the DLR selection process for aspiring pilots. The app covers all relevant test categories—with algorithmically generated tasks based on the official test formats. Each test type features multiple difficulty levels with automatic progression. After you enter your test date, the app creates a personalized training plan that spreads your sessions across the entire preparation period and continuously adapts to your progress.

How much time should I set aside each day?

The study plan is designed for a maximum of 90 minutes per day. As a rule, 30–45 minutes of focused training each day is sufficient. More than that is unnecessary and not recommended from a learning perspective. That’s why your training plan focuses on regular, moderate training rather than long, single sessions.

How do I track my progress?

After each round, you’ll receive a score between 0 and 100, based on your level progress, accuracy, and speed. In the performance dashboard, you can see your progress and compare your results to the platform average.

Can I focus my practice on specific test types?

Yes. You can select a specific test type and difficulty level at any time. The study plan will still recommend the best order — but you always have full control.

How does the pass guarantee work?

If you have had access for at least three months and have completed at least 100 test attempts during that time, we will extend your access for an additional three months at no cost if you do not pass the DLR test.
