Mission

Why we build DLR-Test.Training

The DLR test is more than just an exam. It is one of the first decisive steps on the way to the cockpit. The expectations you place on yourself are correspondingly high — and so, often, is the pressure. Good preparation should live up to that.

When we started building DLR-Test.Training, there were already plenty of ways to prepare. What we were missing was a modern system that is more than a collection of exercises. One that accompanies the entire journey. One that doesn’t just store results, but understands where someone stands, which skills still need to be developed, and where the next training session will make the biggest difference.

That is exactly what we set out to build.

Not the app with the most features. But the preparation we would have wished for ourselves.

That’s why our preparation software thinks along with you. It gives direction when you don’t know where to start. It delivers honest feedback instead of just showing numbers. It makes progress visible — and points out weaknesses, too.

We believe good software should take decisions off your plate, not create new ones. So with every new feature we ask ourselves the same question: does it help you walk into the DLR test better prepared? If the answer is yes, we build it. If not, we leave it out. And all along, we try to build the most user-friendly, fastest and best DLR-test preparation app there is.

This mindset is where many of the features at the heart of DLR-Test.Training today come from: a personal training plan that adapts to your progress. Feedback that gives concrete pointers after every session. A Clearance Score that makes your readiness tangible. And true-to-life simulations, so the actual DLR test feels as familiar as possible.

We don’t believe that better preparation means simply training more.

We know it means training smarter.

DLR-Test.Training is continuously evolving. Some of today’s features are based on conversations with aspiring pilots, on feedback from the community, and on the experience of people who have taken the DLR test themselves. Many ideas start as a small note or a single message — and become, sometimes only days later, a fixed part of the platform. So if you have ideas, wishes or any other feedback for us, please let us know! We read every message and do our best to make your wishes happen, too.

Our standard has stayed the same throughout: we want you to be able to get the most out of every minute of training.

Because in the end, what counts is not how much time you spent in our app.

But how well prepared you are when it matters.

All the best with your preparation!
